Pravalia Rules [12 - 4 - 11]

Inappropriate Language and Flaming
Inappropriate language on the forums or server is prohibited within the forums of posts, thread, visitor messages etc., including the server failure to abide this rule will result in a punishment. We do not allow cussing, flaming against another member. However, we will allow cussing against self, “I fucking hate my account” is an example that we will allow, not against others.

Racism
Any form of racist or prejudiced acts will not be allowed on the forums. If you are caught being racist or prejudiced towards a race or religion you will be infracted, or banned from both the forums and server for X amount of time depending on the staff member dealing with the situation.

Advertisement
Advertisement on the forums and server is strictly dealt with, and an automatic ban from the forums will be taken place. You will not be able to appeal this offence, and we will not allow this on the forums regardless on the situation. Advertisement on the forums and server will not be tolerated and will strictly be followed.

Spamming
Spamming on the forums is tolerated to a certain point, at least attempt to make the posts knowledgeable and not waste our time giving an infraction for such a measure; it’s childish, and ignorant. This also includes double posting within threads, or double posting a thread. Don't post 'thanks' just simply press the thank button, you will be infracted if you don't. We will also include posting threads in the incorrect spot, and an infraction will be handed out, all the members of Pravalia are well enough to know where to post something, you are all not stupid.

Spamming on the server will also not be tolerated, this also including the members that can use the Yell command (donators). The Donator can and will be demoted from their rank if X member continues to abuse the right to use the Yell command. All members will be allowed to use Auto-Talkers, but the talker must be at least set onto 10 seconds at the least.

Trolling on the forums is also not allowed on the forums or server; the staff team has better things to do than to deal with such childish acts. Continue to ‘troll’ on the forums will result of a punishment depending on the staff member; we do not care if he/she complains and states that it was for fun, we do not care.

ShoutBox Arguments
We do not allow arguments to take place within the ShoutBox. You will be warned to discuss in private (PM, MSN, etc.) and if you do not listen you will be silenced from the shoutbox.

Remember, shoutbox punishments will never be permanent and thus one must create an appeal to be unbanned, however, if we must Ipban a member from the shoutbox, we will.

Posting in the Right Section
Posting in the wrong section is not against the rules, period. This rule would originally be under spamming, but we are now enforced to create a separate rule for this particular matter:

Those who are posting in the wrong section or board will now be infracted at all times, we will not accept those who don't follow the rules and spam all over the forums, we want a nice, neat, clean forums for others to have fun on while following the rules at the same time. You will be infracted now, and if continuing to do such actions will result in a ban for X amount of time.

Misleading Links and Hacking
Misleading links is to never be posted on the forums, if posting a link to a YouTube video; we expect it to lead to YouTube. Otherwise your account will face action pertaining to being banned, or permanent banned from the forums.

Hacking on the forums will never be tolerated on either the forums or server, you will be instantly banned from the forum forever, and never allowed back on Pravalia again. This also includes the discussion of hacking. We do not tolerate such matters, and we do not play around.

Confidential Information

Posting others information is against the rules, this includes posting others IP, address, photos of the member etc., this being against the law in the real world we do not mess with such situations and the person will be banned for X amount of time.

Pornographic Material
Pornographic material is not allowed to be posted on the forums, please remember that we have some children on the forums under the age of 13 most of the times. We must not provoke children, or others in general to visit such websites whether it's human nature or not, that's their parents to decide not us.

This includes talking about it in some form such as talking about how one had sex, how things went etc., please keep the forums clean from such idiotic nature.

Arguing with the Staff Team
Arguing with the staff team will not be allowed on the server or forums if having a problem with one of the staff members please private message them or report them. Otherwise, creating a ranting thread about the staff member will mean that we will ignore the entire situation and probably mute you for X amount of time.

Selling or Purchasing
Purchasing or Selling goods or services (accounts, real life items, rsgp etc.) will not be tolerated and action will be taken if continues, we do not have the time for members to come to us and tell us that they've been scammed or hacked. This also including the server, we do want people coming at us as I said before, if we do not catch X member and end up being scammed, then coming to us. We will not be held responsible of the scam, or hacking.

Reputation and Thanks
Reputation and Thanks is to not be asked for, the members must hand out reputation at their own discretion, failure to follow this rule will result in X member’s reputation to be restarted and even locked.

Invading Other Communities
Invading other communities is prohibited and is not tolerated, we ask on behalf of the staff team that members of Pravalia respect other communities; failure to follow this rule is result in an automatic ban from the forums and server. We will respect other communities at all times.

Backseat Moderation
Backseat moderation is something that is nice to have but is stupid in creating arguments between other non-staff members. So on behalf of the staff team, we ask of the members to allow the duties that we were promoted for, and allow us to handle all rule breaks, however, by all means report all rule breakers on the forums or server.

Bug/Glitch Abuse
Abuse of all glitches on the server or forum is not tolerated, and each member will be banned from the server or forum for X amount of time. We will and shall not tolerate flaws being abused to make someone richer, or promote themselves on the forums.

3rd Party Software
3rd party software will not be allowed on the server, or forums for that matter. We do not allow cheating of some kind, and this rule will be forced at all times. When caught, that member will be banned, but will be able to appeal for a second chance. We want our server and forums to be as fair as possible.

Player Vs. Player (PvP)
Pravalia is not held responsible for members who have lost, disconnected etc., while in the wilderness. We also do not have set rules for the wilderness, so go in there at your own risk.

Requesting Items
The staff team is not promoted to hand out items to all the members of Pravalia, in fact the administration especially is not requested to hand out items, also meaning we do not hand out spawned items. Requesting items from the staff team is does and will get annoying after a while of continues asking, so do not beg us for them, you will not get it.

Requesting Staff Position
The Administration team selects and takes suggestions from other staff members on whom should be the next staff member; we do not take requests from the member who is asking for the position. Continues requests from the member who is asking will receive a warning, then will continue on with a mute for 24 hours. This also includes making threads saying "X for moderator", or any posts containing it.

Scamming
Members of the forum or server that have been scammed isn't our problem. The staff team is not required to deal with such matters, however, people are allowed to take videos of all trades or something as well as the staff team seeing the scam with their own two-eyes and take such actions that consist of banning the user for example.

Dicing Scams
Dicing is a game for those who want to have fun with, we're not required to take such action against dicing because it will be hard for us to tell which one is lying and which one is telling the truth, so in conclusion; we will not be taking care of dicing scams. Dice at your own risk, we will not take any sort of action.However, a member may ask a staff member to middleman for that member and it can go from there.

Thread Derailing
Derailing a thread is classified as posting something that does not pertain to the original post. If a thread is talking about a PKing trip, and you go in the thread and talk about what you did last night, you are derailing the thread. This is also a different form of spamming.


Pravalia Ownership

Your account belongs to the Pravalia Administration and we are allowed to modify X account when needed, you do not own your account as the Administration of Pravalia does. We can do as we wish with our accounts besides abuse of accounts. Complaining to the Administration about modifications of X account will be ignored as we own all of them.
